Even on this late autumn day, people crowded the shoreline of Lake Louise to capture the epic quaintness of this beautiful lake nestled among the mountains of the Canadian Rockies. I waited in the wings, carefully watching the Sun, the clouds, and the ripples on the lake for just the right time to move in for the shot. The surface of the lake had been somewhat rippled much of the afternoon thanks to a slight breeze that would come and go. The Sun was also peeking in and out of puffy clouds, going from harsh to grey light in a flicker. I was looking for that brief lull when the water turned to glass and the clouds gave just the right relief. In an instant everything came together and I was able to get the photograph I had envisioned.
